Traditional markets have an important role in society. The role aside from placing the market as a place of sale and purchase transactions between traders and buyers, also farmers who want to sell crops from their farms. The advantage of traditional markets is the interaction between sellers and buyers and the process of bargaining from both. Traditional markets also have the potential to become “outlets” for local micro and small business products. Modern markets have sprung up a lot but have not shaken the traditional market position even though this is a very big challenge for traditional markets. To compete with the modern market, traditional markets must certainly improve themselves from various managerial aspects, from planning to supervision. Pasar Renteng is located in Renteng Village, Praya Village is a potential market that is on a strategic route. Market infrastructure facilities need to be addressed in terms of buildings and their arrangement, especially the environment in the market so that they can improve the living standards of traders and can attract visitors. Thus, referring to the provisions of a healthy market, market development can later be planned carefully so that the planning can be an ideal development guide, clean, comfortable and safe.
