Metro State Islamic Institute

Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro (Islamic Religion Institute of Metro) or IAIN Metro is a State Islamic Institute which is located in the city of Metro, Lampung Province. IAIN Metro has the mission to deliver an excellent Islamic Higher Instiution which is superior in the synergy of Socio-Eco-Techno-Preneurship based on Islamic and Indonesian values. Because of that, IAIN Metro undergo the development of 2 buildings namely the Library Building (3 floors), and Dean Building (3 floors) for the Faculty of Economy. The design of the 2 buildings is located in the Campus 2 of IAIN Metro in Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Banjar Rejo, Batanghari, Lampung Timur region, Lampung.

The design of Library and Dean Building of Islamic Economy and Business Faculty has the development concept namely:

1. MEMORABLE & ATTRACTIVE

• Interesting Facade on the center of the building becomes the central point of view to create an iconic and memorable impression.
• Combining the aspect of green architecture, modern architecture, and Islamic architecture.

2. ADAPTABLE & SUSTAINABLE

• Flexible rooms makes it possible to expand the building to contain the increasing number of users.
• Integrate open spaces and other supporting facilities to create discussion and learning spaces for students.

3. ACCESSIBLE & CONNECTED
   • Easy access for the occupants and visitors of the building, and also easy access for the disabled.
4. PRODUCTIVE & ENGAGING

• Acomodate the needs of academic activities which is integrated with its environmental surroundings.
• Building which gives benefit for everything and everyone (Rahmatan Lil Alamin)
